Leo is a PhD student in Harvard’s Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology program.  Leo completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in Cognitive Science. Leo is interested in how meaning is represented in the brain, altered by disease, and preserved by neurosurgeons. Using both diffusion and functional MRI, Leo is working on mapping the structures that give rise to language, memory, and emotion in pre-operative neurosurgical patients.
