Image-Guided Neurosurgery Fellow
Fred completed his medical school and residency in neurosurgery at Université de Montréal. During his residency, he also completed a Master’s degree in molecular biology under the direction of Dr. Frédéric Charron, focusing on molecular mechanisms leading to the development of medulloblastoma. He also completed the Clinician Investigator Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
He currently serves as the Image-Guided Neurosurgery Fellow at Brigham and Women’s Hospital under the direction of Dr. Alexandra J. Golby. His research primarily focuses on pre-surgical mapping for tumors in eloquent cortex, including work with fMRI.
