We have developed a diverse movie clip database, Dynamic Affective Movie Clip Database for Subjectivity Analysis (DynAMoS), which contains 22 short movie clips (2-7 mins) with diverse actors, varied content, and a range of emotion categories and valence levels.

We also conducted a behavioral study in 109 healthy subjects (57 females, mean age: 30.04 yrs) who provided dynamic & holistic emotion reactivity responses while watching these clips.

This database can be used as a standardized set of clips for emotion elicitation with normative dynamic and holistic emotion reactivity data. It can be used in studying language and emotion processing in neurologic and psychiatric conditions, e.g., post-stroke aphasia or mental disorders.
