Laura graduated fromSmith College where she majored in Neuroscience and Art, and obtained her Master’s degree in Bioimaging from Boston University School of Medicine.  Her thesis project utilized functional MRI to investigate motor cortex plasticity after low frequency Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.

She joined the Golby Lab in August 2008 as a full time research assistant, and is involved in a number of brain mapping and surgical planning projects.
